Bicentennial Bonanza: $165K Value! 5 Rare Quarters Worth $40K

These quarters, issued in 1975 and 1976, are notable not only for their unique dual-dated design (1776-1976) but also for their potential high value due to rarity and specific minting errors.

The U.S. Mint issued the Bicentennial quarters with a distinct reverse design, featuring a colonial drummer and a torch encircled by 13 stars, representing the original colonies.

This design, created by Jack L. Ahr, replaced the traditional eagle and is iconic in its representation of American history.

The obverse of the coin retained the familiar portrait of George Washington, sculpted by John Flanagan, but bore the dual date to signify the bicentennial celebration.
